The first step after you contact me is for us to arrange meeting so that we can go over your requirements and the service I provide in more detail and fill out the necessary paperwork. Then I recommend that I look after your dogs on one occasion prior to when you actually need the service to commence, so that I can check that they and my own dogs get along OK and that they will be happy being left in my care.
You can book daycare and boarding well in advance if you like but I am also prepared to accommodate last minute ‘emergency’ bookings to cover those times when something unexpected comes up (the only proviso being that I have met both you and your dog on a previous occasion). However, to ensure availability, it is best to book at least a week in advance.
Bookings can be made by either telephone or email. I will keep all regular clients updated with any holidays I intend to take well in advance so that you can make alternative arrangements where necessary.
My policy is to give clients at least 1 month’s notice if I have to cancel any bookings and in return I ask that they give me at least 1 week’s notice of any cancellations. I understand that this is not always possible but expect that any bookings cancelled at less than a week’s notice are paid for in full.
